Juried Bird Gallery Show Art Intake: May 1st

This show hosts both an indoor juried "Bird Gallery Show" and an outdoor "Open-Air" art fair. Please see instructions below on how to participate in either or both the art show or art fair.

SUBMISSIONS FOR JURIED INDOOR GALLERY SHOW:
Art Intake: Wednesday, May 1st, 11am -2pm
1. Work must be bird-themed and be for sale.
2. All mediums accepted.
3. A 20% Commission will be deducted from sales to benefit Audubon House. Artists do not need to be present to win prizes, or to make sales. Show hours: 11am-5pm.
4. Entry Fees: $20 for the first item and $5 for each additional item. Maximum of (5) entries. Entry fees and artwork will be collected at takein on Wednesday, May 1st from 11am to 2pm. Payment in check (to Isola Arts, Inc.) or cash. Drop off work at 195 9th St SE, Vero Beach.
5. Fill out 2 ENTRY FORMS (click to download) for each work. Retain one for your records and affix the duplicate entry form to the back right lower corner of the work.Notification of acceptance wil be sent by May 3rd.
6. Size Restriction: 60” in any one side, framed or gallery wrapped. Isola Arts reserves the right to reject any improperly presented works.
7. Presentation: 3D items will be displayed on tables unless the artist provides his/her own pedestal. 2D works must by properly framed with D-ring wire hangers and no saw-tooth hangers. No works weighing over 40lbs.
8. All work must be orignal and created by the artist.
9. Awards: Over $500 in cash and merchandise awards, plus ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in 2D, 3D, and photography.
10. Pick up of all accepted and unaccepted works is May 6th from 9am to noon at Audubon House.

GUIDELINES FOR “OPEN AIR” ART FAIR:
Booth Registration Deadline: WAS APRIL 10TH
1. Booth spaces are $70 for the two day show.
2. Booths are approximately 7 feet wide x 6 feet deep and are covered. All booths must contain at least 3 to 5 bird related items. These can be either works of art, or bird related craft items such as bird houses, baths, yard ornaments, reflection balls, etc. Other items in the booth must also be nature related in some fashion.
3. All mediums accepted, including jewelry, clay, glass, photography, mixed-media, carvings & other. All work must be original and created by the artist.
4. A 20% Commission on all booth sales will be donated to the Pelican Island Audubon Society, 195 9th St SE, Vero Beach at the close of the show on Sunday, May 5th. You will receive a tax-letter for your contribution.  
5. Set-up is Friday, May 3rd from noon to 2pm. You may leave your items overnight with a tarp covering them, or just set-up your booth structure on Friday and bring your items prior to opening on Saturday. The facility is open on Saturday for set-up at 9am.
6. Teardown is after 4pm on Sunday, May 5th.
