1st Annual Roseland Plein Air Event

Roseland is a rural community in the heart of the Treasure Coast of Florida. It includes the banks of the Sebastian River to the Indian River and is bordered by pristine natural areas. The Roseland paint out event will feature many historical sites and private residences along the river. A special treat is a pontoon ride to a remote painting destination on the Sebastian River with raised bluffs and lots of wildlife.

PRIZES: $750 in cash prizes with ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and people's choice awards, plus a quick draw cash award.
COST: $30 Registration fee to cover juried costs. $10 per entered canvas in the gallery show and the quick draw competition.

ARTIST CHECK-IN: 2nd to Dec 4th (8:00am to 9:00am) - Canvas
stamping at Roseland Community Building at 12973 83rd Ave,
Roseland, FL. No limit to canvas number. New check-ins are given a
welcome bag and map to painting locations. Daily Plein Air Painting
takes place around Roseland. Some painting venues will require
reservations due to limited space.

QUICK DRAW COMPETITION: Dec 5th - Special canvas stamp given at
the Roseland Community Building. ($10 to enter and non-registered
artists may participate) Stamps given at 8am, competition starts at
9am with boat horn to announce begin time. Completed artworks must
be framed and handed in by noon. Any unsold artworks may remain in the gallery for the final art show on Dec 6th. Ice Cream and food is available.

ARTIST FINAL RECEPTION AND AWARDS: Dec 6th- Noon Sharp-
Art must be delivered to Roseland Community Building. All art must be suitably framed and stamped to be included in the show.
1:30pm to 2pm- VIP gallery preview for sponsors.
2pm to 4pm- Gallery Show, Reception and presentation of awards.
4pm - Final cash award of People’s Choice will be announced. Food
and beverages are available. All unsold artworks must be removed
from the Roseland Community Building by 4:30pm.

Waldo's Secret Art Walk is Vero Beach's coolest and oldest art venue located in Waldo Sexton's unique original homestead. Our first three shows in 2024 to 2026 attracted nearly 3000 patrons each weekend and were featured in Vero Magazine, 32963 and Vero News.
